Virtual Office in Lahore: What It Is and How It Works

What is a virtual office and how does it work in Lahore?

A virtual office gives your business a real commercial address and mail handling without renting a desk. Workspace by Spiderhunts offers one at 2nd Floor, Sarwar Plaza, Block G, Sabzazar, Lahore, with meeting room access when you need it. Plans are quoted individually.

A virtual office is one of the more useful products in this industry and one of the most misunderstood. In its simplest form it is an address and a service: your business gets to use a commercial address, and someone is there to receive what arrives for you.

What it typically includes

  • Use of a commercial business address for your website, invoices and correspondence.
  • Mail and courier handling — someone receives it, and tells you it is there.
  • Meeting room access by booking, for when you need to sit down with someone in person.
  • The option to add a desk or an office later without changing address.

Who actually needs one

  • Registered companies that would rather not put a residential address on public paperwork.
  • Freelancers and consultants whose clients expect a business address rather than a house number.
  • Online sellers who need a return and correspondence address that is not their home.
  • Companies headquartered elsewhere — Karachi, Islamabad, or abroad — that want a Lahore presence.
  • Anyone whose actual work is fully remote but whose paperwork is not.

The company registration question

This is the question we get most, so here is the honest answer: it depends, and you should not take a website’s word for it.

Whether a particular address can be used as a registered office for a company depends on the current requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, on the type of entity you are registering, and sometimes on the specifics of your case. Those requirements are not static.

What a virtual office is not

  • It is not a desk. If you need somewhere to work, that is a coworking seat at PKR 12,000 a month.
  • It is not a warehouse. Business mail and couriers, not stock.
  • It is not a receptionist answering your phone under your company name, unless that is specifically agreed.
  • It is not a way to appear to be somewhere you are not, for anyone you are trying to mislead.

Questions to ask any provider

  1. 1Is this a real, staffed commercial address, or a mailbox at an address nobody occupies?
  2. 2What are the hours during which mail can actually be received and collected?
  3. 3How will I be told that something has arrived?
  4. 4Is meeting room access included, and how much of it?
  5. 5What happens to my address if I stop the service?

The first one matters more than it looks. An address attached to a floor where people genuinely work behaves differently from a nameplate — couriers get received, someone is present, and the address holds up if anyone checks it.

Our arrangement

The address is 2nd Floor, Sarwar Plaza, Block G, Near Sabzazar Police Station, Lahore — the same floor where our members work. Mail and couriers are received during opening hours, Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 2:00 AM. Collection is during those hours too, which is worth planning around: nobody is here at 9 AM on a Saturday.

Plans are quoted individually depending on whether you need the address alone or the address plus mail handling and meeting room hours.
