Canal View sits on the right side of the city for this. The Canal runs down towards Thokar, Thokar meets Multan Road, and Multan Road runs past Sabzazar. It is a longer line on a map than the distance suggests, but it is a simple one, and it avoids the parts of Lahore that turn a journey into an ordeal.
The route
Down the Canal towards Thokar Niaz Baig, then up Multan Road towards Sabzazar, then into Block G. Sarwar Plaza is the building beside the police station and we are on the 2nd floor.
The Orange Line runs along the Multan Road corridor with a station at Sabzazar, which is useful if the Canal is having one of its days. As always, the metro stops running well before our 2 AM close, so plan the return leg if you intend to work late.
Do the trip once at your genuine travel time before deciding. This is a route where the difference between a good hour and a bad one is significant, and it is better to know that in advance than to find out in week three.
Who this suits
People from this direction tend to fall into two groups. Remote employees and freelancers working for companies abroad, who need reliable infrastructure and a working day that can run late. And small teams — two to six people — who want a room together without signing for a year.
Both get the same underlying thing: somewhere the power and the internet are somebody else's problem, and a working day with an edge at either end.
