Thokar sits at one of the busiest junctions in this half of Lahore, which is a mixed blessing. Everything connects through it. Nothing moves quickly at the wrong hour.

The journey is the easy part

From Thokar, Sabzazar is a straight run up Multan Road. No cutting across the city, no Canal, no ring road. For a lot of people this is the shortest commute to a proper workspace they will find.

The Orange Line makes it easier still. Sabzazar has its own station on the Multan Road stretch, with Awan Town and Shahnoor either side of it. From the station it is a short rickshaw ride into Block G — ask for the police station, and Sarwar Plaza is the building beside it.

One thing to plan for: the metro does not run all night. The floor is open until 2 AM, and the last train is long gone by then. If you intend to work the late window, sort out the journey home before you sign up rather than discovering it at one in the morning. Most members who work late come by bike.

Who comes from this direction

The Thokar corridor has a lot of people working remotely for companies elsewhere, partly because the housing is affordable relative to central Lahore and partly because the university belt sits nearby. What that produces is a steady group of freelancers, junior developers and small teams who need somewhere better than a bedroom and cheaper than an office.

The three things they tend to arrive complaining about are the same three every time: the internet drops mid-call, the power goes and takes the router with it, and there is no way to separate the working day from the household. All three are the reason this floor exists.
